Enrolment opens for the autumn term: join the waitlist for first access

Privacy policy

This website collects very little, and this page explains all of it in plain English.

Last updated: August 2026

Who we are

Latitude Learning Platform (“Latitude”, “we”) runs this website, latitudelearningplatform.co.uk. It is a marketing site for a learning platform that has not yet launched. For anything in this policy, contact david@latitudelearningplatform.co.uk. Your enquiry is read by the founder, not a support queue.

What we collect

Two things, and only when you choose to give them:

  • Your email address, if you join the waitlist. We also record which form on the site you used (for example the footer or the pricing page), so we know what worked. Nothing else is attached to it.
  • Anything you email us. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful for answering you.

What we deliberately do not collect

  • No child data. This website has no accounts, no lessons and no assessments. The placement assessment is not live yet, and nothing on this site asks a child questions or records answers.
  • No payment details. Nothing is for sale on this site yet.
  • No advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not run ad trackers, and we do not sell or share data for marketing. No child data sold, ever, is one of our written promises.

The waitlist

Waitlist signups are stored with EmailOctopus, our email provider, tagged so we know you asked for launch news. You will get a short welcome email and then occasional updates about the launch. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from future sends immediately. If you would rather we delete your address entirely, email us and we will.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are visited. It is designed to work without cookies and does not build profiles of individual visitors; we see counts and trends, not people.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like almost all hosting providers, Vercel keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses of requests) to run and secure the service.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Given how little we collect, this is usually a one-email job to david@latitudelearningplatform.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

When the learning platform itself launches, it will have its own, fuller privacy policy covering accounts and learning data. Any change to this policy will be posted on this page with a new date.
