01

Take the placement assessment

A short assessment at sign-up routes your child to the right lane, Higher or Foundation, for each subject.

02

Build your child's pathway

Choose the GCSE subjects and real-world skills that fit your family. Reorder and add modules any time.

03

Learn with mastery gating

Direct-instruction lessons unlock as your child demonstrates they're ready. They progress on performance, not the calendar.

04

Track everything as a parent

Your dashboard shows completion, mastery and weekly progress: the evidence you need, at a glance.

Three differentiation lanes

Start where your child is, not where a calendar says.

A placement assessment routes every learner to the right lane. They move up as they master the work, and can switch lanes as they grow.

Higher

Stretch and depth for learners aiming at the top grades.

Grades 4–9

Foundation

Secure the core content and build steady, lasting confidence.

Grades 1–5

Consolidation

Pre-GCSE foundations and Functional Skills, mastered one step at a time.

Pre-GCSE
Exam guidance

Wondering how the exams actually work? Here’s exactly what happens.

01

All qualifications are available to private candidates

Your child does not need to be registered at a school to sit these exams. IGCSE and GCSE qualifications are fully accessible to home-educated students as private candidates.

02

We signpost exam centres near you

You book directly with a registered exam centre. We provide guidance on how to find one and what to expect, including costs, registration deadlines, and what your child needs to bring.

03

Just two exam boards across six subjects

Maths, English Language, English Literature, Combined Science and Geography are all with Pearson Edexcel. Psychology is with AQA. Fewer boards means simpler admin, fewer registration processes, and less to manage.

Exam fees are paid directly to the centre, typically £50–100 per subject. We’re transparent about this from the start.
Simple, honest pricing

A full GCSE education for less than a single tutoring session.

Three ways in: families, Alternative Provision, and Local Authorities.
